You Drink & Drive, You Lose 07/02 - 07/05 Results - General Posted by on Tuesday July 06 2010 @ 01:14AM CDT During the Fourth of July weekend, Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies participated in the statewide "You Drink & Drive, You Lose" campaign. Using funding from a MODOT Highway Safety Division grant, extra deputies patrolled Callaway County roadways for hazardous drivers. During the enforcement campaign, 17 drivers were stopped for an array of hazard moving violations. None of the drivers were arrested for DWI. Deputies will continue efforts to improve the safety of Callaway County roadways.
